My reaction to this whole thing is that i think Obama has alot of pressure on him everyone thinks just because hes black they think he can fix everything that Bush messed up. Alot of people werent happy with this they made alot of racial comments about how the white house is going to be turned in to the "Black" house.I bet he lives his life in fear everyday because there is still alot of racist people out their in the world.I feel as though people should just realize the world isnt the same any more hes here to help us and make as many changes as he can.
I think it’s ridiculous the way people are acting because we now have a black president. So what if he is black white or freaking purple he is just as skilled as the last president if not more. If it were a white man in office making all the same decisions would they be acting this way. I think these people trying to intimidate him are dumb whether they like it or not this man already rewrote history books and so much more. I think America should be happy for what this man has accomplished. There is always going to be racism in the world I guess but by them doing what they are doing they are showing how much they really care and how big of idiots they are this man is in office and whether or not they like it they have to respected.
Ever since the historic election of current President Barack H. Obama there have been many changes to our great country of the United States of America. The more important one being Obama becoming the first President of African American heritage. During his election Obama preached and strived for a change in our current health care system. The change to universal health care would help Americans out and take that burden off of their shoulders. Also he wants "death panels" to euthanize the elderly. I really don't know what that means but it sounds good. He also has made chhanges in Congress giving it a more Democratic look. On the negative side their has been an increase of the haters on Obama's jock. They come to his reallies armed to the teeth and show signs with disrespectful quotes on them.
Some people feel that president Obama is failing as the president. Some have even made stereotype about the president. There is always going to be people who are upset with the outcome. But some people take thing to far and express there feelings in violence Bringing a firearm to a presidential speech is strange because there only one thing a gun is use for and that is to kill. Even if theses people still have a grudge against the president they should not want him to fail. If any thing we all should want the best out of president Obama. If the president failed we all failed. It is the president job to make life better. But as a fellow American citizen we have to do are part also. I don't no why any one who would want there president to fail trying to make there life better. There always going to be a time when you do not get what you want. But you have to take it and move on from it. Maybe president Obama will fail but the fact is he is the president of the united states.
I feel as though the change brought upon America by President Obama isn't as serious as the media makes it out to be. Of course there are going to be nay sayers and bigots and racists but that comes with the territory. America is molded by the achievement of Obama regardless of what the opposed say. I think the media paints this picture of a black man in a position of power of people take that either as a threat or an accomplishment. The people who take it as a threat are probably frightened or intimidated by the color of our president's skin, but regardless of the color of his skin his duties as being president are present and the country those people live in is under his control. I think the fact that people are bringing guns to speeches is ridiculous. I Feel as though the matter is not that serious to want to scare a human being and/or potentially kill that human being with is extreme and unnecessary.
Before the election I think that people were just happy that Obama was African American. Maybe that overpowered what some people believed he could or would actually do to help our country. I think that his job is a tough one to take on even if he wasn’t the one that wasn’t elected. I’m not sure why they allow people with firearms to be anywhere close to the president and it makes me wonder if John McCain was elected and there were African Americans around carrying weapons if that would even be allowed. I did like the part in the article where the lady said she wants her country back and it referred to Beaver Cleaver days. I think that’s what most republicans want the more conservative all White America.
President Obama is not a perfect president nor are all of the other American presidents from the past. I dont know why they are choosing to come down on him harder (Racists lol). I mean we believe in Obama trying resolve a lot of our problems but he's one man. He cant resolve every citizen in Americas problems just like no other president ever did. I feel the person that made this article was probably frustrated with the president not doing anything about the gun problem and so they decided to take out their anger on him in an article like probably many authors of articles already did. Obama is a great president but he is not GOD and cant do everything in an instant.
I believe the election of Barack Obama brought great change to the people of the United States. It’s really ashame that people are acting the way they are over the fact that we now have a Black president. Their actions are really uncalled for and they should be embarrassed. I mean really, what makes you think your right for bringing a gun to a presidential speech?? I think it’s getting out of hand and it’s all because a few people are afriad of a few changes. As a country that’s come from so many hard times, you would think things would be different. It saddens me to think about the amount of pressure that’s on President Barack Obama. From the very beginning of his election, he has only had good intentions for the United States of America. It’s really a digrace that some folks just can’t handle that.
I believe that the actions taken on by the citizens are uneccessary. These people need to realize that the president is here to stay for the next three years. They believe that by putting some type of fear in the presidents heart that he will stop where he is at. The president is not the end of our government. It is very true that he is different but for the most part he is just like the democratic presidents that came before him. The president has views that are futuristic. Either you get accustomed to them or you sulk.
I am not shocked by this article at all. Having an African American president was a new change for the United States. I guess some people didn’t like that change. It shouldn’t matter who you are or what color your skin is. President Barack is an American just like the rest of us. And he’s also human so he is going to make mistakes. But I don’t think anybody should make the reason “because he’s black” judge the situation. If we were all one color I think that people would still come up with and excuse to judge people. Instead we need to give him a chance to change our country and stop predicting his failures. The people who show up wit guns and stuff like that needs to really examine themselves and ask “what is this going to solve and what image do we want other counties to have on us”.
I think that the election of Barack Obama has garnered more of a negative repsonce. This negative response comes more from conservatives. They seem to be more against universal healthcare. I don't understand what the difference between liberal and conservative is these days. Some people just hate on him because he's "black" or whatever. People can be so prejudiced and negative without any proof or provocation. The thing about bringing guns and stuff to rallies is so uncalled for and just ignorant for no reason.
